The making of Panchaloga idols belong to the ancient Hindu tradition of mixing 5 metals namely copper, zinc, lead, silver and gold, in specific proportions to cast idols of the Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
The idols that are less than 1 ft in size have individual piece rates.
Solid idols of
size of 1ft to 3 ft are priced
by their weight in kilograms.
Idols with sizes greater than 3 ft are priced against its weight varying to its hollowness & solidity.
The approximate price per kg is Rs.725. This may vary as per the metal price which is subjected to change (Taxes, packaging, forwarding and approval in case of exports will be charged in extra).
